TAZ provides personalized and competitively priced Transport Management, Roads Freight Forwarding and Customs pre-clearing services as part of an overall import and export solution or as a stand-alone service. Depending on the amount of workload, our services can either be provided onsite or from our offices - 24 hours per day. TAZ has the ability to offer a geographic and diversification service to customers.

TRANSPORT MANAGEMENT COMPANY AND ROADS FREIGHT FORWARDER

TAZ manages transport contracts and provides logistics services to customers who require packages, pallets and containers to be transported from South Africa to any of the BLNS and SADC regions with trucks ranging between 8 tons - 34 tons. Trucks are Hazchem accredited and have the required cross border permits,vehicle and goods-in-transit insurance and tracking devices.TAZ prepares transport details and deliver cargo using our own trucks as well as outsourcing to owner drivers ensuring that freight arrives at its destination in good condition and at the right time. We research prices, provide information on routes, book cargo space, prepare and check bills of carriage and insurance contracts and ensure that the lowest possible charges are levied. TAZ assists customers in meeting tight delivery deadlines.

TAZ is fully geared and has formed strategic alliances with clearing agents on both sides of the borders in various African countries and documentation are then in advance forwarded to clearing agents to start their process of clearing. By speeding up the customs process, truck drivers bypass the delay and congestion currently being experienced as they spend hours waiting for their cargo to be customs cleared. When truck drivers reaches the border/s, they would then directly go to the Customs office to print the CN1 and CN2 forms so that the truck could continue to the other side of the border and collect their completed documentation from clearing agents and would thenproceed to customs.

TAZ is able to offer a superior service based on customs pre-clearance and pre-payment of border costs, facilitating speeding progress through BLNS and SADC countries. This ensures fast turnaround of customer documents and reduces truck delay time. Hence, turnaround time is quick, saving the customer time and money.

RATES

Rates are market related but varies according to different countries i.e. zone pricing and tailor made packages are negotiated and agreed with customers. TAZ’s aim is and has always been to provide excellent service at competitive rates and always goes the extra mile to ensure our clients' needs are met.

DOCUMENTATION & PROCESSING

TAZ realizes the importance of returning complete sets of full documents to customers. These documents needs to be correctly completed and returned to clients within as shorter time frame as possible. We have dedicated staff that track documentation and ensure that P.O.Ds, together with any other supplier documentation is returned to customers.
